Mifel Tennis Open by Telcel OPPO 2023 confirms 5 top 20 players for its 7th edition
The Mifel Tennis Open by Telcel Oppo 2023 confirmed that the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas (No. 5) and other four players in the Top 20 will participate in the 7th edition of the ATP 250, tournament that will take place from July 31 to Aughts 5 inside the Cabo Sport Complex.
Exceptional players like the 2021 champion and 2022 finalist, Cameron Norrie (No. 13), the Russian Karen Khachanov (No.12), the American Tommy Paul (No. 17), alongside the Acapulco 2023 champion, the Australian Alex de Miñaur (No. 19) have added themselves to the list of talent attending this tournament, that this year is also celebrating the return of Solaz Resort Los Cabos as the official hotel of the event.
The Greek Tsitsipas (No.5), who disputed the Barcelona Open’s final, will debut in Baja California’s courts, where he’s expecting the same levels of public engagement as those reached in his visits to Acapulco. At 24 years of age, he has claimed nine titles on the ATP tour.
However, the British Cameron Norrie (No.13) has already one trophy under his belt this year, the one he obtained facing Carlos Alcaraz in Rio de Janeiro this February. Norrie has claimed the Mifel Tennis Open by Telcel Oppo as one of his predilect tournaments, since Los Cabos saw him obtain his carrier’s first title back in July 2021. Also confirmed for this edition is the American Tommy Paul (No. 17), who is in the middle of his best professional year yet.
