DESTINATION WEDDINGS IN LOS CABOS

Share

• Budget – after you have determined your budget discuss what the most important parts of your wedding will be. Where do you want to splurge and where do you want to save?
1. Wedding Coordinator – Find a good wedding coordinator. They are the key to having a successful destination wedding – Period. D.I.Y. Brides that try to plan their wedding without a wedding coordinator will have a lot of unnecessary stress and won’t be able to optimize their budget in a way that local wedding coordinators can. They can help you find the right venue and vendors according to your style and budget.
1. Venue- Before falling in love with any venue, make sure to read ALL of the fine print in the contract, especially if you are choosing an all-inclusive hotel. Many of Cabo’s all-inclusive hotels don’t allow outside vendors and charge a pretty hefty fee in order to bring anyone on-site. For private villas, make sure you find out what their policies are on noise restrictions.
1. Photographer / Videographer – There are so many amazing photographers to choose from in Cabo. The greatest benefit about using a local photographer is that they know the best shooting options for all the private villas & hotels. They know exactly how to work in Cabo’s bright sunlight without casting harsh shadows. Often when brides bring photographers from their hometown, they miss a lot of great opportunities due to not being familiar with what Cabo has to offer regarding the best locations & lighting.
1. Hair & Make-up – Last, but not least… Let’s face it, if you and your wedding party don’t look absolutely stunning on your wedding day – then nothing else is going to go right. Your wedding day needs to start off stress-free and enjoyable. That’s why it’s important to carefully choose your styling team. This is not the place to “skimp” with your budget. Always do a trial to make sure they that they can achieve the look you want and that they use proper disinfection and sanitation guidlines. Always check out their website & social media so that you can get a feel for their style and credibility. Ask the right questions when you’re looking at your options: Who will my stylist be? Will the same person that is doing my trial be doing my services on the wedding day? Do they speak English? Can you send me examples of their work? What kind of make-up do they use? Can they accommodate larger bridal parties? How many stylists will they bring on the wedding day & how long will it take? What other services do they offer? Will they provide an hour by hour timeline for each client? Can they come to your location?
With its turquoise blue waters, amazing sunsets, and beautiful weather, Cabo is known as one of the top choices in the world for destination weddings. For that exact reason it’s important to book your coordinator, photographer, & hair & makeup at least 8 months in advance to ensure availability. ]]>
