1st – Sabor A Cabo
Known by local foodies as the “event of the year”, Sabor A Cabo International Food and Wine Festival will take place on Saturday, December 1 at Quivira Los Cabos. The Restaurant Chamber (CANIRAC delegation) of Los Cabos started Sabor A Cabo 12 years ago to help promote local gastronomy. The event includes an impressive display of recipes prepared by more than 50 local restauranteurs paired with the best Mexican brands of wine, tequila and mezcal. 4th – Liga MAC Christmas Fiesta at The Shoppes at Palmilla
Liga MAC’s annual Christmas Fiesta will be held on Tuesday, December 4 at The Shoppes at Palmilla. The event is open to the public. The only requirement for attendance is the donation of an unwrapped toy that does not require batteries. The Christmas Fiesta is followed by a Christmas Posada later in the month where the gifts are distributed, brightening the holiday season for low-income families in Liga MAC programs. www.LigaMac.org

The Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (IMCP BCS) will host Turkey Race 2018 on Sunday, December 9 at 7:30am. The start and finish line will be at Colegio de Contadores Públicos de B.C.S. in La Paz. Founded in 1923, IMCP includes more than 20 thousand public accountants throughout the country. 12th – Feast of the Virgin of Guadalupe
The Feast of the Virgin of Guadalupe is one of the most celebrated religious holidays in Mexico. The holiday commemorates the Virgin Mary, the Patron Saint of Mexico, being spotted by a man two times in Mexico City in 1531. Religious festivals will take place following mass in both Cabo San Lucas and San Josédel Cabo, including fireworks, street fairs, and processions.

16th – Destino Los Cabos Holiday 5k & 8k Fun Run
Destino Los Cabos and Running Tours Los Cabos present a Holiday Fun Run benefiting the children of Los Niños del Capitán! Los Niños del Capitán provides day-care/school to children living in poverty in a safe and loving environment, as well as a social and educational foundation that will assist the children to become useful, self-assured individuals. 16-24 – Christmas Posadas
Las Posadas is a tradition that has been taking place in Mexico for more than 400 years. Thease nine days of religious observance start on December 16 through Christmas Eve on December 24. The celebration traditionally began with a candle lit procession with individuals dressed up as Joseph and Mary leading the way. In modern times, Posadas do not always include a processional and can look more like a fiesta with tamales, piñatas, and more. Many businesses in and around Los Cabos will also celebrate and recognize their hardworking staff with a party called a “Christmas Posada.”
24th&25th – Christmas Eve & Christmas in Cabo
