7-9 – Todos Santos Open Studio Tour

Don’t miss the 11th Annual Todos Santos Open Studio Tour on February 7-9! Each February, a community of artists opens the doors to their studios, inviting you to explore down rambling dirt roads and discover what’s hidden behind their walls. The experience of visiting an artist’s studio is completely different from viewing the artist’s work in the formal setting of a gallery. It’s a chance to connect more intimately with the artist, ask questions, discuss observations, and see his or her tools of the trade. 9 – Los Cabos Half Marathon

The Los Cabos Half Marathon is a 21K race that starts and finishes at Plaza Mijares in Historical Downtown San José del Cabo, on February 9 at 7am. The half marathon takes runners into Puerto Los Cabos, across the marina and town of Playita, then back the same route close to the San José Estuary and on to the finish line in the main square. Mostly flat, the route includes two short slopes which are a challenge, even for the most experienced runner. 10 – PAWDI GRAS at Sancho’s

Join Sancho’s for a Mardi Gras themed fundraiser benefiting El Ranchito Animal Shelter. El Ranchito volunteers will be present with adoptable dogs and collecting donations. There will be a donation box to fill with pet food, shampoo, medicine, toys, collars, leashes, etc. They will have a raffle and silent auction and 100% of proceeds will go directly to El Ranchito. 12 – Los Barriles Artist Studio Tour

Take the opportunity on February 12, from 10am-4pm to visit the studios of 15 of different artists whom reside in the Los Barriles area. And to make it even better, many of the homes will showcase the works of more than one artist! Art varies from fabric, jewelry, bead or soft goods medium, oil and watercolor paintings, ceramic and pottery, and wood or rocks, just to name a few. Parking is provided at each studio, and many of the studios are within walking distance of each other. Get tickets and map at Baja Properties in Los Barriles from 9:30am to 1pm on February 12 or the drive through ticket booth in town. Tickets are only $5 USD or $100 MXN. The Studio Tour is one of the major fundraisers of the Asociación de Artes del Mar Cortez, an official Mexican Non-Profit corporation that provides art and school supplies, art programs, Saturday art, and financially supports sports programs for East Cape Children. 13-15 – Bikers Week Los Cabos & Festival de Rock

Bikers Week returns to Cabo for another year with rides in La Paz, Todos Santos, San José del Cabo and Cabo. The schedule of events includes a welcome ride from La Paz Pichilingue to Tecolote Beach and neighboring Balandra Beach, a pool party and special night ride along the La Paz Malecon on Thursday February 13. On Friday the bikers head to the magical town of Todos Santos then on to Cabo for a rowdy night out. Enjoy a boat tour on Saturday followed by the main party “Festival de Rock” at Plaza San Lucas on Saturday night with amazing rock bands playing the best rock music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, great food, free kids area, craft and regular beer, full service bar, biker apparel, and more. 14 – Symphonic Rock Evolution

Symphonic Rock Evolution will be playing in La Paz, BCS on February 14 at Teatro de la Ciudad. This concert is the premier for the CanaMex Tour 2020 and is part of a cultural exchange between Canada and Mexico, featuring Mexican & Canadian musicians performing together for live concert events in both countries. This dynamic rock band is led by saxophonist/vocalist and musical director Ken Hartfield and includes live string and brass sections, a rock rhythm section, percussion and 6 lead vocalists.
