6th – Día de Los Reyes Magos
On Día de Los Reyes Magos, Mexican families come together to celebrate the day of the three wise men and cut a traditional “Rosca de Reyes.” Rosca is a circular shaped bread usually topped with candied fruit which contains a small baby figurine somewhere inside. On this day, each person cuts their own slice of rosca and the person who gets the piece with the baby figurine is then expected to host a party on Día de la Candelaria on February 2. You can purchase your own rosca at any local bakery or grocery store.
10th-20th – Tropic of Cancer Concert Series

The 11th Annual La Ventana Classic Kitesurf is back! This fundraising competition provides scholarships for local kids and includes kite surfing, SUP, mountain biking and more from January 16-20.
