1-31 – Spring Break Line Up at OMNIA Los Cabos

This will be OMNIA’s third year hosting spring break in Mexico and they are gearing up for the ultimate Cabo pool party! 4 – A Night in New Orleans at Flora Farms

Support Baja SAFE Humane Society of San José del Cabo at their 13th Anniversary Fundraiser titled “A Night in New Orleans at Flora Farms.” This cocktail, dinner and music experience takes place on Wednesday, March 4, in the magical Mango Grove at Flora Farms. There will be live music and a silent auction. Tickets are available for $150usd. 7 – La Estación Food Park Grand Opening

8 – Festival Sabores de Baja 2020

Save the date for Festival Sabores de Baja 2020 (or Baja Flavor Festival) on March 8 from 12pm-5pm at Restaurant Doña Pame in Miraflores, Baja California Sur. This organic food festival was created to promote local cuisine and Baja traditions. More information will be coming soon at www.FestivalDeSaboresBaja.com

15 – Corramos en Confianza 2020

This year, the well-known “Corramos en Confianza” (Run in Confidence) race will be held for the first time in the Cabo San Lucas downtown recreation area known as Ciclovia Recreativa Cabo. A portion of the proceeds will be used to transport children who go to CRIT La Paz, and to a child with autism that requires special lenses. Teams will run in pairs, one starts blindfolded and will be guided by his partner, and then at 1.5k they will change roles and return to the starting point to complete the 3k. 15 – Festival de Artes in Los Barriles

The 27th annual Festival de Artes in Los Barriles takes place at Palmas de Cortez Resort on March 15 from 10am to 4pm. Enjoy one of longest continually ran festivals in Baja California Sur with more than 80 artists. Artists must produce 90% of the work they sell and there will be a wide variety of different mediums. There will also be food vendors, a bar with shaded area to enjoy a delicious meal, silent auction, and a full schedule of entertainment from professional dancers and local school performers. 15 – El Triunfo Craft Festival

Artisans throughout the region from El Triunfo, San Antonio, Los Planes, Los Divisaderos, El Sargento, La Ventana, Los Barriles, Buena Vista, and others will come together on March 15 from 10am-5pm in El Triunfo to exhibit their artistic offerings, regional crafts, folkloric dance, local food and concerts for the whole family! Festival Artesanal El Trifuno is a free and family friendly event that helps Baja artisans promote their products and bring money back into the community.

20 – Feeding the Hungry Fashion Show 2020

On Friday, March 20, participate in a wonderful fundraiser to raise money to feed the neediest people in the Los Barriles area. The event starts with a happy hour at 4pm and fashion show at 5pm at Restaurant & Bar La Playa. Visit @FeedingTheHungryLosBarriles on Facebook for more information!

21 – Take a leap for The Children

Jeramiah Tower, Dani Reyes, Jose Sosa, and Alex Pal are pleased to invite you to a dinner gala and silent auction on March 21, from 5pm to 10pm, at Sancho Panza Kitchen and Lounge. Be part of this very select group of friends with a maximum of 120 people attending. Dress up and join Sancho Panza for a great cause and fabulous gastronomic experience with proceeds from this event going to support local children with cancer. 21 – Saturday Night Fever: A Benefit for Biblioteca Elena Poniatowska

Last year’s event for community library Biblioteca Elena Poniatowska was so successful, they were asked to do an encore Save the Date for “Saturday Night Fever” on March 21, from 6pm to 9pm at Gallo Azul restaurant in Todos Santos. Money raised will add new titles to their library shelves: best sellers, bilingual, and books in Spanish are needed. Get out your dancing shoes and let’s rock with food, dancing, door prizes, and raffle! Tickets are $800 pesos.

21 – Yan Roads & The Organic Monster Project LIVE at Vidasoul

On Saturday, March 21, enjoy “A Solstic Revolution,” a live concert by Yan Roads & The Organic Monster Project. Yan Roads is a Mexican independent singer song writer. Her work is influenced by The Gypsy Jazz notes, funk, hip hop, English, Spanish, and French lyrics in a fusion of Latin American sound. She defines it as a delicious music fusion that melts down into a powerful revolutionary movement with the purpose of opening the consciousness of those who are captured by the message.

22 – Medio Maratón RETO San José del Cabo

Participate in the Run for Life half marathon on Sunday, March 22 at 7am. Choose between 5k, 10k, or 21k in the tourist area of San José del Cabo. Tickets and information available at www.All4Run.org.

26-29 – Festival de Cine de Todos Santos

The seventeenth edition of Festival de Cine Todos Santos (aka Todos Santos Film Festival) takes place on March 26-29. The Festival that began with a few films at the Marquez de León Theater, has become a must-see event, year after year, with a selection that offers the best and most recent fiction, documentary and short films from Latin America and Mexico. For the past 16 years the festival has offered a varied selection of films, including award-winning films at international festivals, which clearly reflect the excellence and diversity of Latin cinema throughout the world, with special emphasis on the cinema of Mexico and Baja California. 29 – Race 4 Cabo Kids benefiting The Teleton Community

Four hundred children from Los Cabos have dropped out of Teletón’s rehabilitation program in La Paz due to the lack of adequate transportation. Hundreds more are not receiving the critical pediatric care they need because of the expense of travel to Salvatierra Hospital in La Paz. The Teletón Bus Project addresses this problem by providing life changing support to children and their families.
