Full Moon Sunset Sessions at OMNIA Los Cabos

OMNIA Los Cabos hosted their cool new nighttime party concept on Friday, August 16. OMNIA shut down for the day to prepare for the big party with special guest DJ Morgan Page. Full Moon Sunset Sessions combined OMNIA’s classic beach club vibe, with a nighttime club atmosphere under the light of the full moon, with a firework show finale. The venue and staff were decorated in glowing makeup and accessories, which really lit up the party once the sun went down. August is always hot and humid in Cabo, so the nighttime party concept was a welcome reprieve from the summer sun, and guests happily danced and cooled off in the pool until late into the night. With plush daybeds, private cabanas, beautiful club interiors, and inviting pools, OMNIA is an awesome place to spend a day (or night) in paradise! OMNIA offers VIP villas and oceanfront cabanas with private plunge pools for guests who demand privacy and excellence. The combination of today’s top DJ talent, bottle service, champagne showers, and breathtaking natural surroundings make OMNIA one of the top destinations in Los Cabos. @OMNIALosCabos

El Squid Roe 30 Year Anniversary

In a town where businesses frequently come and go, 30 years is a huge accomplishment! On August 30, El Squid Roe celebrated this big milestone with party and music by guest DJ MAKJ. Cabo’s iconic El Squid Roe opened in 1989, as a laid-back bar and restaurant in what was then a sleepy little fishing town. Over the years, El Squid Roe has grown to be an impressive 3-level nightclub with state-of-the-art sound system, a restaurant with delicious food, and bar hosting countless tourists, locals, and celebrities each year. The atmosphere at El Squid Roe is like a house party; with an MC to guide the crowd through the night and an environment that allows guests to feel free enough to dance on top of tables. El Squid Roe is a very popular choice for Spring Breakers. Dinner time (when all ages are welcome) is mostly 80’s and Rock & Roll. Then around 11pm they switch it up to throwback remixes of Pop, R&B, Rap and Hip Hop, followed by Latin and Reggaeton hits late into the night. Every year, El Squid Roe hosts a Spring Break concert series known as Baewatch Cabo with some of the world’s hottest and wildest performers. Previous performers have included J Balvin, Lil Dicky, Waka Flocka, Lil Yachty, Carnage, Krewella, Jessie Reyez, and more. Whether you visit in the calm of day or during the action-packed night, El Squid Roe should be on everyone’s “Cabo Bucket List.” @ElSquidRoeCabo

Pez Gato Jazz & Wine Sunset Cruise

For vacation goers looking for a relaxed evening boat cruise with views of the arch, Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez, the Cabo Jazz & Wine Sunset Cruise aboard the 65’ Tropicat is an excellent choice! Departing from gate #4, between the Cruise Ship Pier and the Dolphin Center, guests will enjoy a soothing mix of today’s contemporary Jazz music along with an open bar and gourmet appetizers. Choose from a selection of wines, or the unlimited premium bar including Tecate Beer on Tap, Hornitos Tequila, Skye Vodka, Captain Morgan’s and Barcardi Rum, Tanqueray Gin, Johnny Walker Red and Jack Daniels Whiskey, mixers, juices, sodas, purified ice and water. Appetizers include fine cheeses, cured meats, fruits and vegetables, crackers and breads, and more. I had the opportunity to take the cruise with a few girlfriends last month, and after obligatory photos in front of the famous Cabo Arch, and a few glasses of wine and snacks, the beautiful Baja sunset was the perfect end to lovely evening on the water. The cost is $80 USD per adult and $40 USD per child (5-11 years old) for the 2 hours cruise. Inquire about locals and group discounts. @PezGatoCabo
