SPOTLIGHT: ISLAND CAT BAJA
ISLAND CAT BAJA
Island Cat is a superb sailing catamaran providing ALL INCLUSIVE private charters and excursions to remote coves and beaches on the inside Sea of Cortez; the area famously known as the “Aquarium of the World.” According to Nature.org, this is the second most biologically diverse marine environment on the planet. Island Cat provides the premier tour of its kind taking guests to beautiful isolated locations experienced by only the fortunate few. An intimate sailing cruise features snorkeling with an array of tropical fish over shallow coral reefs, swimming with sea lions, beach-combing, exploring, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc.
Private charters and public excursions include outstanding chef-prepared organic meals on a stable, spacious catamaran with a skilled and educated crew. Local farm fresh vegetables and fruits are delivered daily. A marine biologist acts as hostess and snorkel leader. Everything is provided, snorkel gear, kayaks, paddle boards, one or more assistant dive boats for landing on deserted beaches and getting guests up close and personal to aquatic sea life in its natural environment. Bottled water, beer, sodas, snacks of varying kinds, along with an open bar, private bathrooms, freshly laundered towels, and private showers are all included.
An all-day adventure begins early morning with your personal ground transportation to the boat, including video and refreshments. The late afternoon return trip stops at the Hotel California, the location made famous by the Eagles musical group.
